Mother of triplets Arūnė Simanavičienė: "We all have the same 24 hours, it's just up to us how we use them"
Looking at this charming mother, bursting with youthful energy and showing no sign of fatigue on her face, it's hard to believe that she has three little one-year-olds, a business and a motherhood blog waiting at home.
Arūnė smiles that she receives questions about how she manages to be everywhere not every day. However, she always answers that she does not do all the activities at the same time. He divides all his work wisely and doesn't do anything he doesn't want to do at the time. This is the simple secret of an active woman's energy.
"The fact that from the first months the triplets fell asleep at 7 p.m. greatly contributed to the possibility of doing a lot and not neglecting myself as a woman. and slept all night without waking up. I always had free evenings, which I used for blog posts, business strategies, housework, sports, or spending time with my husband. Now that teething has started, the evenings and nights are not so peaceful anymore. But once you get into the rhythm of the activities, you're still pretty good at maintaining it. And if on any day I feel less sleepy or more tired, I just play with the children and don't force myself to clean the house or take care of the business," says the author of the blog "Three as One".
The woman says that she always dreamed of a big family, so when she found out that she was pregnant with even three little ones, she was surprised, but also very happy. It was a dream come true, a great happiness. And on the day when she found out that she was expecting, Arūnė had already started a business, so everything flowed easily, in its own way. And most importantly, she felt ready for everything and morally prepared.
"When I told my colleague that I was expecting, we considered whether we should stop the activity, give birth first and then see if I am pregnant. However, after a couple of months, it turned out that my colleague was also pregnant, so we both decided that we would not stop anything, we would continue working. And if later, when the children are born, we see that we cannot make it, then we will consider what to do. But after having the little ones, I was told by the doctors to let them sleep a lot. So, from the first days in the hospital, having a lot of free time while the children were sleeping, I went back to work. My colleague and I understand each other very well, we support each other, and when necessary, we substitute." - A. Simanavičienė tells her story for the project "I became a mother, I discovered myself".
The young mother remembers that when she saw the invitation to participate in the project organized by Canywhere, she decided that she definitely wanted to share her experience and inspire other mothers. "We all have the same 24 hours in a day and it's up to us how we use them meaningfully," says Arūnė and adds that it's not necessary for everyone to create businesses or write blogs. However, by engaging in additional, favorite activities, a woman creates even more energy and strength that she can devote to her little ones.
